Saturday, May 5 – Wednesday, May 9: Monmouth Festival of the Arts
The 42nd Monmouth Festival of the Arts takes place at the Monmouth Reform Temple in Tinton Falls. Over 200 artists from all over the Northeast will display their art in a variety of mediums including jewelry, ceramics, sculptured art, oils, watercolor, pastels, mixed media, and fine crafts. Saturday, May 5: Master Gardeners of Ocean County Plant Sale
Rutgers’ Master Gardeners of Ocean County are holding their 22nd annual plant sale, “Grow Well in 2012,” in the parking lot of the Rutgers Extension on Whitesville Road in Toms River. Stock up on varieties of plants and ask your gardening questions! Proceeds from the plant sale will fund many of the Master Gardeners endeavors, including college scholarships for Ocean County students and a community garden. Call 732-349-1245 for more information.
