A Local Family Favorite is Back: The 2015 Manasquan Fireman’s Fair

If you’re looking for a fun-filled family evening of carnival action – complete with thrilling rides, games with great prizes, live music and tasty treats – come out to the 2015 Manasquan Fireman’s Fair, going on now through Saturday, Aug. 1. This action-packed nightly event, an annual Manasquan summertime tradition, starts at 6 p.m. at Mallard Park.

Families can purchase an Unlimited Rides wristband for just $25. There are rides for all ages, and the more daring will thrill on adventures like the Gravitron, Cliff Hanger, Emerald City, Flashback, Pharaoh’s Fury, Round Up and Super Sizzler – to name a few.

Fireman’s Fair, famous for drawing more than 30,000 people over a five-night event, features a variety of food vendors serving up delicious fare and refreshing drinks, ranging from the snack food classics –cotton candy, popcorn, candy apples, funnel cakes, nachos and sodas – to lots more substantially satisfying favorites. Don’t miss DJ Jersey Joe in the Beer Garden and several performances by Manasquan Music Dance Arts on the basketball court tonight.

Feeling lucky? The Super 50-50 is the highly-anticipated winner-takes-all drawing on the last day of the Fireman’s Fair this Saturday, when a projected $25,000 jackpot will be awarded to one lucky winner. Tickets are $100 each and well worth the investment with proceeds going to programs and services of the Volunteer Engine Company # 2 in Manasquan. You don’t have to be present to win. Tickets can be purchased at www.manasquanbeachhouse.com; www.reefandbarrel.com; and Manasquan Firehouse, 111 Parker Ave.

With help from volunteers of both Manasquan’s Fire Departments, the Police Department, the Ladies Auxiliary and the local community, the Manasquan Fireman’s Fair is an annual local success! Visit www.manasquanfair.com.
