Snap, Crackle, Pop: Where to See Fireworks

Looking for the best local place to check out the fireworks for Independence Day this year? Let Jersey Shore Style be your guide. Here are our picks:

Asbury Park: fireworks begin at dusk, visible from anywhere on the boardwalk. 732-502-5749.

Barnegat: concert at 7:30pm, fireworks at 9 at Municipal Docks. 609-698-5126.

Bradley Beach: begin at 9:30pm (rain date is Saturday, July 14). 732-776-2999.

Long Branch: check out Oceanfest 2012, an all-day, family-friendly festival featuring food, live music, children’s entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, and more. The day finishes off with fireworks around 9:00pm. Admission is free! 732-222-0400.

Point Pleasant Beach: best viewed from Jenkinson’s Boardwalk; starts at dusk. 732-899-1659.

Seaside Heights: firework extravaganza begins at 9:30pm and is visible from anywhere on the boardwalk. 800-732-7467.
